Becoming a celebrity is a national privilege especially in the US. A celebrity appears like a god like figure to some. When one becomes a celebrity, all privacy is tapped. Some celebrity takes center stage based on things that are happening in their lives.
The media sometimes focus more on the negative aspect of a celebrity life to broadcast to the public. Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, and others are role model to society. Their committment in helping humanity is to be applauded.
Britney Spears on the other hand, has captured the news media with a down turn of events exposing her personal life. Mark you when some people are under fire from their family and the media they sometimes react in the wrong way especially if their support system is on hold for the moment. As a result, they are more apt to react instead of being responsive if their support system is not in place. This can be a deadly end to an individual pride and self-esteem.
Our society is rather reactive than responsive. The best way to deal with stress and pressure especially coming from the media is to restrain from reacting. Take a break and evaluate the situation clearly by getting all your ducks in a row. Come back with a positive response instead a negative one. By being positive, you're showing responsive behavior in dealing with difficult challenges. People make mistake, they did not fail they learn. Mark this down, every experience there is a learning moment to tap. The media need to stop nit pick on everything and comment more on the positive.
Why not give attention to something positive rather than negative? It is time for change and each of us is responsible for the change. Remember positive attracts positive. Stay tuned for more from your news reporter Mrs. Laughing Pants News Stories.
